Meet Our Experts
Siobhan O'Neill
Director
Siobhan is a results-driven healthcare professional with a strong academic foundation, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Human Sciences with specialist knowledge in anatomy, physiology, and evidence-based clinical practice. Brings a comprehensive portfolio of clinical qualifications, including Advanced Life Support (ALS), ROSPA Assured Training, and BSA accreditation, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality health screening and emergency response services aligned with best practice and regulatory standards.
Extensive experience operating in high-pressure, frontline environments as an Ambulance Receiver, with expertise in patient transfer, triage, and rapid clinical decision-making. Demonstrates proven capability in delivering medical leadership and advanced nursing support across large-scale events and festivals, including Belsonic, Farmers Bash, and Balmoral, with a focus on early intervention, risk management, and patient safety.
Recognised early for leadership potential through the Sports Leadership Award (Advanced GNVQ in Leisure and Tourism) and the Business Leadership Award (1998), underpinning a long-standing commitment to professional excellence and organisational leadership.
In addition to clinical expertise, has contributed to strategic community initiatives, including digital inclusion programmes in partnership with BBC Belfast’s “First Click” initiative, supporting skills development in rural communities. Further experience includes the planning and delivery of cultural and charitable events, as well as a key role in the PEACE Heritage Programme in Northern Ireland, fostering cross-community engagement and cultural collaboration.
Dr. Kieran Kennedy M.B.E.
Director
Kieran has over 40 years’ experience in the textile manufacturing and social enterprise sectors in key positions, most notably as Managing Director of O’Neills Irish International Sports Company Limited, before retiring in December 2021.
He has a track record of driving significant improvements in product innovation, customer service, efficiency, IT and business transformation. Kieran was appointed MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List in June 2021, for services to the economy during the pandemic, as a result of the pivot he made to scrubs manufacturing to support the Health trusts in Northern Ireland.
Kieran is also Chairman of 21 Training Ltd. which promotes apprenticeships in the Northwest.
Kieran is voluntary Chair of Strabane Business Improvement District (BID) which helps local business by, supporting, promoting, improving and attracting visitors and new business to the town centre.
In 2019 he was awarded the Global Ireland Award for services to Irish enterprise by the Irish Consulate General in Boston, USA.
Kieran joined the Board of Invest NI in March 2020 and served for 5 years as Chair of the Sub Regional Group.
